How to get rid of annoying startup programs.

We all have junk files and programs that start up when the computer boots up, annoying us and slowing down the startup process and most of the time we don't even use most of those programs!! So I'm going to give you a quick lesson on how to get rid of these pesky programs in windows. You click on the "run" box in xp its on the start menu above the shutdown button, on vista and 7 the run box is embedded in the start menu you will see it as soon as you click the start menu. You can also type Winkey+R that will also get your run box up It works on xp, vista, and 7. In the run box type: MSCONFIG This will run a little window which will let you screw around with you system configuration Tread Lightly here if you disable or screw with anything in here you could crash your computer and prevent it from not booting up anymore. Now that we got that out of the way click on the start up tab there is everything that starts up when your computer starts, If the box is checked that means that that program will start up if its unchecked meaning there is nothing on the box then that program does not start up with your computer. So, have fun hope this improved the start up speed for some of you. Oh!, and if you dont know what a program is you are better off leaving it alone.
